In light of the 20th anniversary of Taiwan NHI, the symposium theme will focus on NHI assessment (evidence, methodology and policy implications) and we look forward to your sharing of your experiences in Japan and South Korea. The keynote speaker is Prof. Winnie Yip (Oxford University) who will speak on ¡°social experiment: a research journey into the fields¡±(tentative).
Funding-wise, we will follow the pre-agreed format, that is, ¡°you pay your way and we pay for your stay¡±. We would like to invite four delegates (2 paper presenters and 2 discussants) from each country and the president or vice-president of your association, totaling 5 delegates. The 2-night local accommodation and transportation will be provided by TaiSHE.
The Taiwan NHI 20th anniversary international symposium, to be held on March 16 (Mon) 2015, will be organized by Prof. William Hsiao (Harvard University) and many distinguished international scholars from North America and Europe are invited as symposium speakers (final program is not yet released). We would like to extend the invitation to all the delegates to also participate in this exciting symposium and will complete the registration for you if you decide to attend.
